Michelle Smallwood, CPA
General Manager, MMC Group, LP
Michelle Smallwood first joined MMC Group, LP as Chief Financial Officer in 2006 and was promoted to General Manager in May of 2009. Ms. Smallwood is responsible for the general management and strategic direction of MMC and its affiliates.

Her primary responsibilities include managing all fiscal aspects of MMC's operations, contract management and negotiations. Rounding out her General Manager expertise, Ms. Smallwood has broad field-management experience. In addition to MMC's 40-state reach, she managed financial operations for over 400 locations when she served as Chief Financial Officer of Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

MMC's broad and differentiated client base is complimented by Ms. Smallwood's diverse client-relations history with accounting firm, Grant Thornton. At Grant Thornton, she served as Assurance Senior Manager, with personal responsibility for more than 40 clients annually, including companies with revenues in excess of $100 million.

Ms. Smallwood is a graduate of Texas Tech University and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Public Accountants.
